The Dimension of Wind and Ghosts

from The Dimension of Wind and Ghosts by Dustin Labara

lyrics

God bless the damned, suffering. Thy will be done.
A reflection of Earth, yet colder still. Freezing sun.
Vibrations slowed, spaces grown. Distance within.
Distance without, emptiness is all but the wind.

Shades do whisper in your mind, of the worlds you've left behind.

(left behind... left behind!... desolate... behind the gates)

Angular shapes, geometry stark and pale.
But the soil where you stand is soft and black, dank and fertile.
Inside of man hides the doors, to kingdoms manifold.
But these are the poor, cursed by the power which they hold.

Shades do whisper in your mind, of the worlds you've left behind.

(left behind... left behind!... desolate... your tragic fate)

In desolation wait the lost, where they just might stay forever!

(wind and ghosts... with only wind and ghosts... desolate... behind the sorrowed gates... carry the weight... to your tragic fate... desolate!)
